How do I print double-sided pages?
This book is designed to be printed double-sided with a larger interior margin for binding. For double-sided printing, you will need to see if your home printer has that capability. If it does, you will need to select that option in your print settings. Look for words like “print both sides” or “print 2-sided”. Each printer works slightly differently, so I recommend checking your printers owners manual for settings.
If your home printer cannot print two-sided you can still print! You will have to put your sheets through the printer twice. Start by printing “odd pages only” then put those sheets back in the printer and then print “even pages only”. I suggest doing a test print first on a few pages for alignment purposes.
Another option is to have someone else print it for you such as Fedex Kinko’s, Office Max, etc.
Any other print-settings I should be aware of?
This is designed for 8.5″ x 11″ sheet so you may print as “Actual Size”. There is no need to scale it nor use “fit to print”.
What about binding?
This pdf is designed with 3/4″ interior margin; this gives room for your preference of a coil bind, comb bind or 3-ring binder holes. I was able to put my planner in a binder at home, but used a service to coil bind.
Much like printing, Fedex Kinko’s, Office Max, etc. offer binding services with possible other options.
What size binder fits the sheets best?
This book fits best in a standard size 1/2″ binder.
What type of paper do you recommend for printing?
Great question! I’ve used Target brand 28# letter printer paper. I like the grippy feel of it and does well with pencil; depending on your pen, it might bleed thru.
